JMU Receives #14 Ranking in Latest IWLCA Poll

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison lacrosse received the #14 ranking in the latest IWLCA Division I Poll, as announced Monday morning.
The Dukes bounced back against Vanderbilt this week with a resounding 20-8 win in Nashville to open AAC play. After falling behind early 3-0, JMU responded with an 8-0 run and allowed just one second-half Commodore goal in the win.
JMU is now 5-2 on the season and remains the only team from the AAC ranked in the poll. The Dukes are second in the conference standings.
The Dukes are ranked #8 in the USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Top 20 this week.
#14 JMU will begin a four-game home stand on Wednesday, March 19 when it welcomes #12 Virginia to Sentara Park. Opening draw is slated for 6 p.m. ET and will stream on ESPN+.
