30 Dukes Named to 24-25 American All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas – James Madison lacrosse had 30 players named to the 2024-25 American Conference All-Academic Team, the organization announced.
This year marks an increase from the 24 JMU representatives on the list in 2023-24. Of the 30 honorees, 17 are repeat awardees from a year ago.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in an American-sponsored sport, attained a minimum GPA of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters of academic work.
Out of the 30 Dukes named, sophomore Abigail Beattie, graduate Maggie Clark, graduate Savannah Derey, junior Emily Evans, graduate Adanya Moyer, and senior Lauren Savage recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring.
A total of 3,599 student athletes across the American's 21 sponsored sports were recognized, setting a new record for the conference.
