JMU to Host National Girls Women & Sport Day Clinic on Jan. 31

Join JMU student-athletes as they celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day on Saturday, January 31st, presented by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative!

Starting in the morning, join us for our National Girls & Women in Sports (NGWSD) clinic hosted by our JMU female student-athletes and Assistant A.D. for Student-Athlete Development, Cassidy Clements ('18, '20M)! Girls ages K-8th grade are encouraged to register for the clinic and attend to learn how to engage in physical activity, foster teamwork and love sports! Participants will have a chance to participate in clinic drills, hear from coaches, and meet student-athletes from JMU women's sports teams.

The NGWSD clinic will take place in the Convocation Center from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m on Saturday, January 31st. Later that afternoon, join the JMU Women's Basketball team as they face off against the South Alabama Jaguars at 2:00 p.m.!

Registration is $17 and will include access to the National Girls & Women in Sports clinic and a new NGWSD t-shirt, and a ticket to the JMU Women's Basketball game versus South Alabama! Please complete an individual registration for each participant.

Registration for the NGWSD clinic is only necessary for the participating child. Others (parents, siblings, etc) can purchase discounted rate tickets through the registration link by purchasing "Friends and Family Guest Tickets". All tickets through NGWSD (clinic and guest tickets) are General Admission. General Admission sections are first-come, first-served and NOT reserved seats.
