Prior to his time in the Ivy League, Troutman served as Director of Ticket Operations for the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League, overseeing ticketing efforts for multiple sports and events hosted at the Adirondack Bank Center. His leadership introduced new departmental policies, training programs and revenue growth initiatives that strengthened fan engagement across the organization.
Troutman's extensive experience also includes positions with the Times Union Center in Albany, the Albany Empire of the Arena Football League, and the University at Albany, where he began his career in collegiate athletics and later managed ticket operations during a period of record growth in football season ticket sales.
