HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional calendar for the 2026 baseball season, presented by Chick-fil-A. The Dukes will host 26 regular-season games this season at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park (VMP) in their fourth season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.Â

The promotional calendar begins on Friday, Feb. 20 as the Dukes open their home season with a three-game series against Le Moyne. Schedule magnets and 2026 team posters will be available at all games that weekend for fans, while supplies last.Â
Back-to-back midweek games against schools in the Commonwealth will follow on the promotional calendar. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Virginia Tech visits Harrisonburg for our first $2 Tuesday of the season! Fans in attendance can grab their JMU baseball jersey rally towel, while supplies last. The Dukes then host George Mason on Tuesday, March 3 where one lucky fan in attendance will go home a raffle winner of a JMU baseball starter kit, complete with a JMU baseball hoodie and hat.Â
The Dukes are back home that weekend as they welcome the ETSU Buccaneers for a three-game series. The set begins on Friday, March 6 when the best-dressed JMU "super fan" in attendance will go home with a JMU bookstore gift card. It's Bingo at The Ballpark on Saturday, March 7 with fans receiving prizes throughout the game from winning bingo cards. Sunday, March 8 marks the first trading card giveaway, as those in attendance can begin to build their JMU baseball trading card collection with our sophomore class.Â
JMU begins Sun Belt Conference play March 13-15 when Georgia Southern comes to The Friendly City for Community Weekend. Be in attendance on Friday and Saturday for your chance to go home with a JMU camo koozie. Kids will have their chance to walk away with their own JMU eye black stickers on Sunday, March 15, while supplies last.Â

Feelin' Presidential? James Madison welcomes George Washington to VMP on Wednesday, March 18 for a midweek matchup. Show up early to claim your game-specific poster featuring Duke Dog, while supplies last.Â
Kick off April at VMP when the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana come to town for a three-game series April 2-4. Fans in attendance during Thursday and Friday's games will receive a JMU baseball wristband, while supplies last. Fans can continue to build their JMU baseball card collection on Saturday, April 4 with our junior class. Those in attendance on Saturday are also eligible to participate in a special Easter Egg Hunt at VMP.Â
Hang Up and Hang Out at VMP all weekend long when the Dukes take on App State on April 17-19. Those in the stands on Friday and Saturday can take home their own JMU phone wallet, while supplies last. Sunday, April 19 will mark our third trading card series giveaway when we recognize our freshmen class.Â
The Dukes begin the month of May when they host Marshall on May 1-3. Join us for a Double Scoop of Dukes with a JMU baseball ice cream helmet giveaway on Friday. Fans can show us their game face on Saturday, May 2 when we give away JMU eye black stickers. Calling all Little Leaguers! Join us on Sunday, May 3 for Youth Sports Day, presented by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative, and take home your own pair of JMU sport sunglasses, while supplies last! Little leaguers are invited to stick around after the game for a postgame catch on the field.Â
JMU closes its home slate on May 8-10 against Southern Miss, presented by Chick-fil-A. The weekend gets started with a JMU eye black sticker giveaway on Friday before Saturday's Nine Innings of Winnings. Fans can answer a variety of trivia questions throughout the game to try and go home with a prize from JMU Athletics. Mother's Day doubles as Senior Day on Sunday, May 10, as we celebrate our senior class with our fourth and final trading card giveaway as well as a special on-field Senior Day recognition.Â
The 2026 season will feature a pair of season-long promotions. All midweek contests will have discounted concessions available throughout the game, which include Feb. 24 versus Virginia Tech, March 3 against George Mason, March 18 against George Washington, March 24 versus Radford and April 14 against Richmond. The second promotion running all season will allow kids the opportunity to run the bases following all Sunday home games.Â
