The Madison Promise 2027 Campus Master Plan

On Friday, April 24, the James Madison University Board of Visitors endorsed The Madison Promise campus strategic plan and approved the 2027 Campus Master Plan. More information on each is available on university web links. Athletics is currently authoring its own division-specific strategic plan to steer the next few years of projected growth.

"Today was in important step forward for James Madison University with the Board of Visitors endorsing the Madison Promise and approving the Campus Master Plan," Director of Athletics Matt Roan said. "Work on our Athletics strategic plan is underway, with targeted completion this Fall. There is considerable impact for Athletics throughout the 2027 Campus Master Plan, which will expand opportunities as projects are evaluated and are able to proceed. Significant work lies ahead, but I'm excited that the university can advance to this next phase as we chart an exciting future."
