HARRISONBURG, Va. – Four James Madison student-athletes were selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team in
Zach Fleishman,
Harrison Lee,
Aurelien Schmitt and
Ryan Morgan.
This is the second straight year Lee has been recognized on the team, while Fleishman, Schmitt and Morgan garnered the award for the first time in their respective career.
Fleishman, a sophomore majoring in finance, led the Dukes with a 23-10 singles record, including a 12-5 mark in dual play. He also notched a 13-14 doubles record, with an even 7-7 spring ledger.
Lee, a junior accounting major, repeats on the All-District Team after putting forth a 15-4 singles mark, including 4-1 during the spring. He also finished 16-10 overall in doubles play with an 8-7 spring record.
Morgan is who is pursuing his master's degree in kinesiology after graduating from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's in exercise and health science. In his first year with the Dukes, he won 25 total matches, including 15 in singles play and 10 on the doubles side.
Schmitt, a sophomore business management major, played at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles all spring, going 15-19 in singles play with a 9-10 spring mark with an 18-12 doubles record, including 9-7 in the dual season.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team, an individual must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (both undergraduate and graduate), be a sophomore or older and have played in at least 70% of the team's matches during the spring.
