HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men's basketball signed Emarquis Jones to its 2026-27 roster on Wednesday, June 17, Head Coach
Preston Spradlin announced.
Jones, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., opened his career at Fort Hays Tech Northwest before spending the following seasons at Cowley College (2024-25) and Division II Goldey-Beacom (2025-26).
"Emarquis has been a winner at every place he has been with 67 college victories and two national tournaments," Spradlin said. "As we wrapped up our roster, adding someone who would help drive the competitive culture every day was our priority, along with increasing our length and athleticism in our wing positions. Emarquis checked all those boxes. We are excited to welcome him to our team."
