JMU Set for 6 p.m. Kickoff at Old Dominion on ESPN+

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison's conference opener at Old Dominion will kick off at 6 p.m. ET, on Saturday, Sept. 26, at S.B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, Virginia, and will be streamed live on ESPN+, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Monday.

The Dukes are 4-2 all time against the Monarchs, including 2-1 on the road. Last season, JMU topped its in-state foe, 63-27, at Bridgeforth Stadium.

The game also kicks off the TowneBank Royal Rivalry Challenge, which is entering its fifth year between the two schools. The Dukes have won the all-sports challenge three times, including last season, and have tied once.

The 2026 college football season marks the 15th straight year all Sun Belt home games will appear on an ESPN platform.
