Season-high five tackles in FCS Second Round at Colgate (Dec. 1)... Made four tackles and 1.5 stops for loss at Villanova (Oct. 13)... Season-best 2.0 TFLs against Elon (Oct. 6)... 1.5 sacks against Rhode Island (Nov. 10)... Also had a sack at Richmond (Sept. 29) and in FCS First Round against Delaware (Nov. 24)... Tallied three or more tackles in six games.
2017 as a Redshirt Junior: Started all 15 games at defensive line… Third Team All-CAA Defensive Lineman… Had 54 total tackles (33 solo), to go with 14.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one pass breakup and eight quarterback hurries… Ranked third in the CAA in both forced fumbles and tackles for loss and tied for fourth in sacks… Career-high eight tackles (six solo), as well as 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack in NCAA Division I Championship game against North Dakota State (Jan. 6)… Tallied six tackles at ECU (Sept. 2) and against Maine (Sept. 23)… Had a career-best 2.5 tackles for loss against ETSU (Sept. 9)… Career highs of 2.0 sacks and two forced fumbles in FCS Semifinals against South Dakota State (Dec. 16)… Had a full sack in five games… Had five stops three times and at least three tackles in 11 outings.
2016 as a Redshirt Sophomore: Played in all 15 games, making nine starts on the defensive line… Had 15 total tackles (6 solo), to go with 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries, four pass breakups and four quarterback hurries... Ranked 24th nationally (3rd CAA) in fumble recoveries... Season-high four tackles and 1.0 sack in FCS semifinals at No. 1 North Dakota State (Dec. 16)… Had three tackles (all solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and a fumble recovery in the NCAA Division I National Championship game versus Youngstown State (Jan. 7)... Also had three tackles and a career-best two pass breakups versus Elon (Nov. 19)... Produced two stops at Maine (Sept. 24)… Made at least one tackle in seven games.
Prior to JMU: Transferred to JMU after spending two seasons at Virginia out of the ACC… Played in three games in 2015, making collegiate debut at No. 13 UCLA… Also saw time against Boise State and Syracuse… Redshirted true freshman season in 2014.
