Bio
As a senior: Five saves in second half in 1-0 shutout against Saint Joseph's... split time and did not allow any goals in season-opening 7-0 shutout against Georgetown with one save... did not allow any goals during 7-0 shutout against Richmond... split time in 3-0 shutout against W&M and had one save... nine saves this season... finished her career with 45 saves and 952:41 minutes in goal
As a junior: CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award... Fall JMU Dean’s List... JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete... made her first collegiate start in season opener at Kent State... started eight matches in goal... two saves in each of first two matches... season-high four saves in win over William & Mary... went 3-2 as the keeper of record for the Dukes and combined on six shutouts in goal.
As a sophomore: Split time with Lori Amico in season opening 3-0 win against Kent State and had three saves... played 218:53 minutes in eight games and had 11 saves
As a freshman: Made her career debut in the Michigan State game and split time with Lori Amico... played for a total of 151:03 minutes in eight games and had 14 saves
High school and club: Former Under-16 National Team member. Also made one appearance with Under-18 National Team in 2003-04. Played for regional team A 2000-02 and regional team B 1999-00. As a member of GHHC Groningen youth and adult teams from 1995-03, won a national indoor championship (2003), was national runner-up three times (2000-02) and won five regional championships (four outdoor, one indoor).

What is your major and why did you choose it?
I'm majoring in psychology because I'm interested in human behavior.
What do you enjoy most about JMU field hockey?
The team.
What are your goals for this year?
Making the most of my last season; I want our team to win CAA’s and qualify for the NCAA tournament.
What is your favorite pre-game music or ritual?
Techno music.
Who is the silliest/goofiest person on the team?
Meghan Bain and Julie Munson.
Who motivates you and why?
My teammates motivate me. Whenever I don’t feel like going out for a run, I think about how they're all working hard and giving everything for the team as well.
What are your favorite things about JMU?
The friendly, spirited people and the I-bleed-purple T-shirts.
What is your favorite place at JMU?
The arboretum is my favorite place to go for a run or to take a walk.
Do you have a nickname within the team?
Dutchie.
Which is your favorite team to play against?
ODU.
What can’t you live without?
My cell phone.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
If one of my hands gets wet, the other one has to get wet too.
What other hobbies and/or activities do you enjoy?
I love skiing, traveling, horseback riding, movies, and cooking.
