2016 as a redshirt junior:
- Led the Dukes with 54 strikeouts
- A weekend starter, Withers started 14 contests with a 3-6 record and 6.27 ERA
- In six and one third innings of work, he struck out seven batters while allowing just one run in a 3-1 win at the College of Charleston [4/24]
- Struck out a career-high nine hitters in a tough-luck 2-0 loss to William & Mary [4/17]
- Threw six innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out two batters in a 9-1 win over Hofstra [5/20]
2015 as a redshirt sophomore:
- CAA Commissioner's Academic Award
- Made 19 relief appearances, compiling a 2-1 record, 8.47 ERA and one save
- His 44 strikeouts were the second most by a JMU pitcher
- Threw 2.1 scoreless innings against Buffalo [2/13] and struck out three batters to earn his first win of the season
- Pitched the final four innings of a 16-8 win over Delaware [4/4], limiting the Blue Hens to three runs, to earn a save
2014 as a redshirt freshman:

- Collegiate debut with two innings pitched and three strikeouts in home opener versus Longwood
