- VaSID Second Team All-State
- One of JMU's top relievers, Evans led the Dukes in ERA (2.66) and appearances (28)
- Compiled a 5-1 record and four saves in 44 innings of work
- Threw three scoreless innings, giving up one hit and striking out five batters in a 9-1 win over Hofstra [5/20]
- Had a stretch of nine innings that spanned four appearances without allowing a run [5/13-5/25]
- Earned his first win of the season by throwing two and one third scoreless relief innings in a 2-1 win over George Washington [3/1]
- Threw 56 pitches in three and two thirds scoreless innings to pick up a win in an 8-6 victory over UNCW [5/14]
2015 as a sophomore:
- Led JMU in ERA (3.68) and saves (4) in 36.2 innings pitched
