- Sister, Jennifer, has been a member of the South African National Team for 16 years, including playing for the team at the 2012 London Olympics
- Mother, Adrienne, was a diver for Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe)
- Is also a diver who competed in the World Junior Championships for South Africa
