2019 as a Redshirt Senior: Played in 14 games, making three starts at cornerback… Had 13 total tackles (11 solo), to go with an interception… Had a 79-yard pick-six in FCS Second Round against Monmouth (Dec. 7)… Made three tackles in national championship game against North Dakota State (Jan. 11)... Had two tackles against both Towson (Oct. 26) and Richmond (Nov. 16).
2018 as a Redshirt Junior: Played in 10 games, making four starts... Had nine tackles (4 solo), to go with one interception and five pass breakups... Recorded first career interception and a career-high three pass breakups in FCS First Round against Delaware (Nov. 24)... Tallied three tackles against Rhode Island (Nov. 10) and in FCS Second Round at Colgate (Dec. 1)... Iron Dukes Award recipient.
2017 as a Junior: Missed entire season due to a preseason knee injury... Redshirted to retain a year of eligibility.
2016 as a Sophomore: Played in all 15 games, making one start… Had 32 total tackles (21 solo), to go with four pass breakups, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble… Also returned two kickoffs for 46 yards, including a long of 28… Ranked third nationally and tied for first in the CAA in fumble recoveries… Career-high six tackles against Central Connecticut (Sept. 10)… Had four tackles versus Morehead State (Sept. 3) and in the FCS quarterfinals against Sam Houston State (Dec. 9)… Produced three tackles at Maine (Sept. 24) and in the NCAA Division I National Championship game versus Youngstown State (Jan. 7)... Tallied one forced fumble and one fumble recovery at North Carolina (Sept. 17)… Also recovered a fumble for a six-yard touchdown at New Hampshire (Oct. 15) and recovered another loose ball versus SHSU... Tallied at least one tackle in 12 of 15 outings.
2015 as a Freshman: Played in eight games before missing the final four due to injury… Recognized on Watch List for CFPA FCS Kick Returner of the Year Award...CAA Special Teams Player of the Week (Oct. 12)... Had 16 total tackles (10 solo), to go with three pass breakups, one blocked kick and a kickoff return for a touchdown… Scored first career touchdown on a 92-yard kickoff return at Towson (Oct. 10)… Blocked a punt in home win against Stony Brook (Oct. 3)… Season-high five tackles versus Richmond (Oct. 24)… Had four tackles (all solo) and two pass breakups at Elon (Oct. 17)… Recorded at least one tackle in seven games... Accrued 153 kick return yards on three attempts at Towson… Had a 40-yard kickoff return against Richmond.
High School: Rated as a 2-star recruit by Rivals.com and ESPN and ranked in the state’s top 100 recruits by the Roanoke Times… VHSL First Team Group 6A All-State as a junior and senior... Had 29 receptions for 650 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior and 36 catches for 861 yards and 13 scores, as well as four interceptions as a junior... Helped Centreville to a 12-3 record, a No. 4 ranking in the state and a berth in the 2014 state championship game... Had four catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns, along with four tackles in the state title game his senior year... Also helped CHS win the 2013 state title.
