Cory Morris is an assistant athletic trainer and primarily serves as the head trainer for the men’s basketball team.
Prior to JMU, Morris was an assistant athletic trainer at Longwood University from 2013-2015.
Morris graduated from Western Illinois University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training and earned a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies in sport management in 2013 from Stephen F. Austin State University. During his undergraduate career, he was a student athletic trainer for Western Illinois for almost four years. He was also a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Stephen F. Austin while working on his master’s degree.
