Hannah Ross is in her first season with the James Madison football program in 2024, as she serves as director of on-campus recruiting.
Â
In her role with the Dukes, Ross is responsible for coordinating and managing all on-campus official and unofficial recruiting visits, including game day visits by prospective student-athletes.
Â
She coordinates recruiting correspondence with prospective student-athletes, high school coaches, junior college coaches and other appropriate entities.
Â
Ross also helps develop and maintain JMU's prospective student-athlete databases and coordinates the collection of transcripts, assists with admissions and onboarding processes for signed athletes and works in conjunction with compliance, admissions and academics to ensure prospects meet James Madison University and NCAA admission standards.
Â
She’ll also oversee preliminary academic evaluations of all PSAs while working alongside the director of player personnel.
Â
Ross joined the Dukes after spending two seasons with the Louisiana Tech football program (2022-23). Starting while an undergraduate student, she was a student intern for most of the two seasons before being elevated to director of on-campus recruiting during the 2023 season until her hire at JMU.
Â
At Tech, she developed and implemented strategies for orchestrating Junior Days, visits and camps while supervising the student intern team.
Â
Ross graduated from Louisiana Tech with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in November 2023. In addition to her football duties, Ross was chapter president for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
