Justice Seales in his second season with the James Madison football program in 2024, as he serves as a defensive graduate assistant.
Seales joined the Dukes after spending the 2023 season at UConn, where he held the same position.
Prior to his year stint at UConn, Seales was part of Bob Chesney’s staff at Holy Cross in 2022 as a defensive quality control coach.
The 2022 season saw Holy Cross go 11-0 during the regular season for the third time ever, and it finished with a program-best 12-1 overall record after reaching the quarterfinals for the first time in over 30 years. The rushing attack ranked sixth nationally with 245.1 rushing yards per game, and both Peter Oliver and Fuller took home All-Patriot League laurels at the running back position.
Holy Cross finished the 2022 campaign with a #6 ranking as a result of numerous marquee wins, including a hail-mary victory against FBS foe Buffalo and an overtime win over ranked Fordham. Holy Cross also earned its first win versus Harvard since 2000 and defeated both Harvard and Yale in the same season for the first time.
Seales played college football at Marist (2016-19) and Sacred Heart (2020-21). He played in 48 career games between the two schools, which included helping SHU to consecutive Northeast Conference titles in 2020 and 2021. He was also a 2018 Honorable Mention All-Pioneer Football League selection at Marist.
He additionally was a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honoree in 2021.
Seales graduated from Marist in May 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sports communications and earned a master’s in teaching from Sacred Heart in May 2022.
