At JMU: Joined the JMU staff during the spring of 2012 and is coaching the tight ends... Primary Recruiting Area: Metro Richmond,Williamsburg and Northern Neck....

Before JMU: Very familiar with the Colonial Athletic Association after having two stints in his coaching career at the University of Richmond... Was the head coach at Richmond in 2010, leading the Spiders to a 6-5 record... Spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons as the wide receivers coach at the University of Tennessee and the University of Virginia, respectively... Served for three years at Richmond as the wide receivers coach from 2005-2007, including promotion to assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator before the 2007 campaign... Spiders were 26-12, made two NCAA Playoff appearances and beat a BCS team (Duke) during time as assistant coach at UR... The 2007 Richmond team posted a then-school record 11 wins and the school's first-ever appearance in the National Semifinals... UR also eclipsed 10 team records in that season, with his wide receivers leading the way in setting new standards for scoring average (34.9), touchdowns (63) and total offense (5,675)... Spent three seasons as wide receivers coach at VMI from 2002-2004... During his tenure in Lexington, the Keydets led the Big South Conference in passing in 2003... Coached one season as an assistant at Western Carolina in 2001 after spending his first two coaching years at Fork Union Military Academy... Was a three-year starter at tight end during his playing days at Hampton, earning All-America honors following his senior season... Played on two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and NCAA playoff teams and also competed in the Gridiron All-Star Classic in Orlando, Fla.

Personal: Bachelor's degrees in 1999 in sports management at Hampton... Graduated from Lee-Davis High School in Richmond... married to the former Brandi Bradby.
