Set JMU single-season records for field goals (27) and scoring (160)… Was 79-for-80 on point after attempts and 27-for-34 on field goal attempts… Ranked sixth nationally and led CAA in field goals per game (1.69) and scoring (10.0) while also ranking 16th in the FCS and third in the league in field goal percentage (79.4%)… Broke JMU's career field goals record on a 44-yarder at Elon (Sept. 28)... Set JMU single-season record with 17 made field goals… Was 35-for-35 on point after attempts and 17-for-19 on field goal attempts… Led CAA in scoring (9.6), field goals per game (1.89), field goal percentage (89.5%), PAT kicking percentage (100%) and second in total field goals… Converted four field goals against Elon (Oct. 6)… Made three field goals at Villanova (Oct. 13) and against William & Mary (Sept. 22)… Also hit two field goals at NC State (Sept. 1) and in FCS Second Round at Colgate (Dec. 1)… Career-high 10 extra points against Robert Morris (Sept. 13)… Tallied a season-best 15 points on three field goals and six extra points against W&M.
2017 as a Redshirt Freshman: Played in 11 games, serving as the team’s primary place kicker and kickoff specialist since midseason… VaSID Second Team All-State... Was 31-for-33 on point after attempts and 14-for-18 on field goal attempts… Also had 56 kickoffs for 3,389 yards, averaging 60.5 per kick… Ranked second in the CAA in made field goals and fourth in field-goal percentage (77.8%)… Tied for fourth in JMU single-season history in made field goals… Tied previous program record with three field goals in FCS Quarterfinals against Weber State (Dec. 8), which included a season-long and JMU postseason-record 46-yard field goal as time expired… Made two field goals at William & Mary (Oct. 21), against Richmond (Nov. 11), in the FCS Second Round against Stony Brook (Dec. 2) and in the NCAA Division I Championship game against North Dakota State (Jan. 6)… Made three 40+ yard field goals… Converted six PATs in FCS Semifinals against South Dakota State (Dec. 16) and five at Rhode Island (Nov. 4).
