Jessica Kyllo is an athletic academic advisor who works with the football team on academic skills, time management and NCAA eligibility.
Prior to JMU, Jessica worked at UNC Charlotte as an athletic academic advisor and learning specialist; she assisted the baseball, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis teams, and worked with all at-risk students on study skills. assisted their baseball, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis teams. Jessica began her career at the University of Idaho where she advised over 100 student-athletes. She also acted as the staff SAAC advisor.
Jessica is an active member of N4A and Women Leaders in College Sports. In 2019, Jessica was selected to participate in the Women Leaders in College Sport Institute for Administrative Advancement. Jessica also serves on the JMU Task Force on Racial Equity.
Jessica holds a Master of Science in Education Leadership from Winona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Washington State University.
