Kaden Semon is in his first season with the James Madison football program in 2026, as he serves as Director of Player Personnel.
Semon joined the Dukes after holding the role of director of scouting at Colorado State (2025). In that role, he conducted advanced scouting for opponent analysis, prepared detailed scouting reports while focusing on defense. He also played a part in high school and portal recruiting strategies, as well as managing and maintaining the recruiting board.
Prior to CSU, Semon spent two seasons at Ole Miss (2023-24). During the 2024 season, Semon was a player personnel analyst, preparing depth charts for all opponents, as well as creating advanced analytics and reports for game situations for the coaching staff. He also identified and evaluated transfer portal prospects.
In his first season with the Rebels, Semon was a graduate assistant with the player personnel department.
Semon broke into college football at his alma mater Tennessee, where he spent three seasons (2021-23). While in Knoxville, Semon was a recruiting/personnel assistant.
He graduated from Tennessee in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. Semon later earned his master’s degree in sports analytics from Ole Miss in 2024.
