Career-high eight tackles at Towson (Nov. 17)... Made a career-best six solo tackles with 2.0 for loss and first career sack against Stony Brook (Oct. 27)... Had five tackles against both Rhode Island (Nov. 10) and in FCS Second Round at Colgate (Dec. 1)... Recorded first career interception with two pass breakups at Richmond (Sept. 29) and added another pick in FCS First Round against Delaware (Nov. 24)... Tallied four or more tackles in six games... Also had 1.0 TFL at Richmond and against Elon (Oct. 6).
Prior to JMU: Transferred to JMU after spending two years at Ohio State… Redshirted true freshman season in 2016 and appeared in two games as a redshirt freshman in 2017... 2016 OSU Scholar-Athlete… 2017 Academic All-Big Ten Team.
High School: Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year… Associated Press Player of the Year… VHSL 4A First Team All-State defensive back as a sophomore, junior and senior and First Team wide receiver as a senior… Tidewater Player of the Year as a senior… Three-time First Team All-Region and All-Conference… Had 43 tackles and seven interceptions, five of which he returned for touchdowns, as a senior… Had 41 receptions for 731 yards and six touchdowns… Helped Lake Taylor to 2014 4A state title and a berth in the 2015 title game… Honor roll student all four years.
