Jerrid Matlock was named the head equipment manager for both James Madison basketball programs on Jan. 3, 2023.
Matlock comes to Harrisonburg after serving as the assistant equipment manager at Lafayette College since Aug. 2021. While working with the Leopards, Matlock performed duties such as assisting the director of equipment services train interns, fitting the student-athletes, and managing travel equipment for football. Previously, he worked as an equipment manager intern at Lafayette from January-May 2021.
He graduated from East Stroudsburg University in May 2021 with a bachelor of science degree in sports management. Additionally, Matlock received his associate's degree in sports management from Northampton Community College in August 2018.
