Jarrod McAninch serves as a marketing assistant with JMU Athletics. In this role, he oversees the marketing efforts for baseball and men’s and women’s soccer. He also assists with gameday operations for football and men’s and women’s basketball.

Prior to his current position, McAninch served as a student marketing assistant with JMU, overseeing the promotional efforts for 2017 baseball season.

McAninch received his Bachelor of Science in sport and recreation management with a minor in general business from the Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management at James Madison in May of 2017. As a student, he served as a marketing intern and strategic communications practicum student with JMU Athletics.

A native of Goode, Virginia, McAninch enjoys spending time with family and coaching youth lacrosse in Rockingham County. He and his wife, Kaylyn, reside in Harrisonburg.
