Faith Buck is now in her third year serving as the Director of Sports Nutrition.

She arrived at JMU in 2021 as a Sports Nutrition Intern, began as a Sports Nutrition Assistant working with volleyball in 2022, became the Assistant Director in 2023, and was elevated to her current role of Director of Sports Nutrition in 2024. Buck previously spent time as a clinical and outpatient dietitian at Sentara RMH prior to coming to JMU.

Buck currently oversees the entire Sports Nutrition Department and works directly with five sports teams: women's basketball, volleyball, cross country, field hockey, and lacrosse.

Buck received a bachelor's degree from Penn State in 2014 in Nutritional Sciences, became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in 2022, and received her Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) credential in 2026.
