Jenna Burkett was named the Dukes' director of operations in September 2008.
A native of Altoona, Pa., Burkett earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Robert Morris University in Corapolis, Pa., in 2007.
She was a starting guard on the Colonials' 2006-07 basketball team that won the Northeast Conference championship and participated in the NCAA Tournament. The Colonials won a school-record 24 games that season.
Burkett was a four-year letterwinner at Robert Morris and set school career records for three-pointers made (208) and attempted (607). She also holds the school's single-game record for three-pointers (9).
She played 114 career games for the Colonials, and that ties for the second-highest number of games played in school history.
"I am very excited to have Jenna join our staff," said Brooks. "She will be a huge asset in the daily operations and recruiting efforts. Her enthusiasm and work ethic will pay dividends immediately."
