Nathan Hale

Nathan Hale joined the JMU women's basketball staff as the director of operations in August 2005. His duties include coordinating team travel, game video exchange and game-day operations
A 2000 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan and a native of the Shenandoah Valley, Hale was an assistant men's basketball coach at Bridgewater (Va.) College last season.
The 1996 Fort Defiance High School graduate has also held assistant men's basketball coaching positions at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. (2003-04) and at his alma mater, Virginia Wesleyan (2000-03). He was also head junior varsity coach at Lebanon Valley.
Hale was a four-year letter winner in basketball at Virginia Wesleyan and team captain as a senior in 1999-2000.
He earned a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism from Virginia Wesleyan in 2000. Hale received a master's degree in education from Old Dominion in 2002.
