Casey Milton came to James Madison in October of 2021 as the Associate Director of Fan Engagement.
Prior to JMU, Milton has previously worked in summer collegiate baseball with the Wilmington Sharks, where he entertained fans as their On-Field Host for three seasons. In 2021, he then helped launch the newest Coastal Plain League franchise in Spartanburg, SC, by working as their Director of Entertainment.
Milton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2019, and of the University of Florida, graduating with a Master of Science in Sport Management in 2022. While attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington, he worked as an Athletics Intern working in marketing and game operations and as the university ambassador Sammy C. Hawk.
Before his career in athletics, Milton served eight years as a Counterintelligence Agent in the United States Army, where he lived and worked in five different countries to help foster peaceful international relations.
Milton lives in Harrisonburg with his two dogs, Kiba and Pika, while supporting his wife, Sabra, while she serves in the United States Navy.
