High school and club: All-state as a junior and senior. Four-time all-section and three-time All-WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League). Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Elite 11 and North Elite 11 as a junior. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All-Star and North All-Star as a junior and senior. Pittsburgh Tribune-Review North Player of the Year runner-up as a junior. Four-year starter. Team captain and MVP as a senior. Led team in scoring and assists as a junior. Her Beadling club team was Region I Premier League champion 2002. Beadling was Pennsylvania West champion 2001 and 2002 and runner-up 2003 and 2004. Olympic Development Program Region I pool 1999, 2000 and 2002. Member of Pennsylvania West ODP Team 1999-2002 and team captain 2002. Also lettered in basketball and track. Set school record in discus and finished fifth in WPIAL in javelin. Hampton’s top female scholar-athlete award-winner as a senior. National Honor Society member. Salutatorian of her high school class.
