Richard Reardon returned to his alma mater to serve as the associate director of events and game operations, overseeing men’s soccer, men’s basketball and baseball game days from an operations standpoint. Prior to returning to JMU, Reardon was an athletic technician at Rockingham County Parks and Recreation beginning in 2018 and also had supervisory and managerial roles at stops at Eddie Edwards Signs Inc. and S&B Wine LLC. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2012 in sports and recreation management and then earned a master’s degree from JMU, receiving it in 2014 in sports and recreation leadership. While in school he worked in the equipment room, first being an undergraduate equipment manager before working his way up to a graduate assistant equipment manager and then an assistant equipment manager.
