FIELD HOCKEY LOSES 4-3 IN OVERTIME TO VIRGINIA

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Sept. 16, 2005- Virginia's Allison Flynn scored with 37 seconds left in sudden-death overtime to help the Cavaliers beat 15th-ranked James Madison 4-3 in field hockey.
Freshman Lauren Walls (Berlin, N.J./ Eastern Regional) scored two of the three goals for the Dukes.Â
The other JMU goal of the game was scored by junior Baillie Versfeld (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe/ Dominion Convent).
Senior goalie Lori Amico (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) played 46:39Â of the game and had two saves. The Dukes put in sophomore Merel Broekhuizen (Groningen, The Netherlands/ Maartens College) in goal in the second half, and she had one save.

Katie Phillips scored two goals and Abby Taylor also scored for the Cavaliers.
