TERRE HAUTE, Ind., Nov. 20, 2006 -- James Madison senior cross country runner Dena Spickard (Marion, Va./Marion) finished 107th Monday at the NCAA National Championships hosted by Indiana State..
She completed the 6,000-meter LaVern Gibson Championship Course in 22 minutes, 11.7 seconds.
Some 253 runners completed the race, which was won by Sally Kipyego of Texas Tech in 20:11.1.
Stanford won the team title.
JMU has been represented at the NCAA meet the last three years and seven times in the last 11 years.
