RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 19, 2009 -- The James Madison men's tennis team opened up its season this past weekend with three losses at the VCU 4+1 Invitational.
The Dukes kicked of their spring slate with a 4-1 loss to Temple. Sophomore transfer from Old Dominion Matt King (Lorton, Va./Robinson) made his JMU debut in a 6-3, 6-4 double loss.
Madison also dropped a 3-2 decision to Campbell before wrapping up the weekend with a 4-1 loss to VCU.
