WOMEN'S SOCCER LOSES 1-0 AT #18 MARYLAND

COLLEGE PARK, Md., Sept. 13, 2009 -- The 18th-ranked (Soccer America) Maryland women's soccer team topped James Madison 1-0 Sunday afternoon at Ludwig Field.
Maryland maintained its unbeaten record, improving to 7-0-0 on the year. JMU's record now stands at 4-3-0.
The Terrapins' only score came in the 60th minute, with Molly Dreska scoring her first goal of the season on a 16-yard shot. Ashley Grove was credited with an assist on the goal.
Maryland out-shot the Dukes 13-6. Dukes' redshirt junior goalkeeper Diane Wszalek (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) made eight saves, and Maryland goaltender Mary Casey needed to make only one save to get the shutout.
