Football Concludes Spring Drills With Final Scrimmage

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The James Madison football team concluded its 2013 spring practice drills with its final scrimmage, April 20. In the modified scoring system for the spring game, the offense won over the defense 37-35. The key play in the final drive was a 43-yard pass from sophomore Michael Birdsong to junior wide receiver Ryan Dixon to the defense's 7-yard line followed by a 7-yard pass from Birdsong to tight end Derek Hart for the touchdown.
