CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A second day of rainy weather caused the final day of the Charlotte Invitational to be called off for James Madison men's tennis on Sunday. The Dukes were due to play singles and doubles against Coastal Carolina at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex in Charlotte, N.C.
Many of the Dukes' singles matches against opponents from USC Upstate on Saturday were halted in progress due to rain. The only complete day of competition for JMU was day one on Friday when the Dukes faced host-Charlotte.
JMU wraps up the fall tournament slate next weekend as the Dukes travel to the ITA Atlantic Regionals at Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Match play begins on Oct. 16.
