HARRISONBURG, Va. – Following a record-setting win in the Friday night, fourth-seeded James Madison will hit the road to face top-seeded North Dakota State in the semifinals of the 2016 NCAA FCS playoffs. The game, which will take place at Gate City Bank Field at the FargoDome in Fargo, N.D., will be played Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) on ESPN2.
The Dukes (12-1) advanced to the semifinals for the third time in school history after dominating all three phases of the game in a 65-7 triumph against fifth-seeded Sam Houston State. It will be the second meeting all-time between JMU and NDSU. The teams first met on Dec. 3, 2011, in the second round of the 2011 FCS playoffs. The Bison held off the Dukes 26-14, on the way to their first run to a FCS national championship.
