James Madison continues its home stand against Drexel after beating Eastern Mennonite 82-65 on Wednesday night.
Senior forward Paulius Satkus poured in a career-high 22 points in the win, as the Dukes dominated down low. JMU outscored EMU 48-20 in the paint.
This marks the first game of Colonial Athletic Association play for both teams. Last year JMU finished the regular season tied for third in the conference, while Drexel finished ninth.
Wednesday was JMU's best shooting performance of the season, with the Dukes hitting 54.2 percent of their shots from the floor.
The Dukes have grabbed more rebounds than their opponents in 12 of their 13 games this season. They average a +6.3 rebounding margin per game.
The Dragons have already matched their 2015-16 win total under first-year head coach Zach Spiker. Last year Drexel finished 6-25, this year they sit at 6-7.
