JMU Adds Additional Softball Seating, Limited Tickets Available Thursday

JMU is installing an additional 700 temporary seats at Veterans Memorial Park to accommodate fans for the NCAA Super Regional this weekend.

These additional tickets will be sold online only via JMUTickets.com beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday May 26. Phone and walk-up orders will not be available. Tickets are all-session books only and an order limit of 4 tickets will be in place.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until the additional seats are sold out, and single session tickets will not be available. Fans with an existing ticket office account are encouraged to visit JMUTickets.com before the on-sale to confirm their login information, fans without an existing account may setup a new account in advance to assist with the ordering process.

A limited number of free tickets for JMU students will also be available for reservation on Thursday. Students who are members of the DC25 will gain access for reservations starting at 9 a.m. and the remainder of the student body will gain access at noon. Student ticket reservations must be made online at JMUTickets.com. Students must present their JACard on game-day to pick-up their ticket and gain entry to the stadium. Student tickets may not be used by anyone except the reserving student.

This expansion will bring the total temporary capacity of the softball stadium at Veterans Memorial Park to 2,125 seats as seventh-seeded James Madison hosts 10^th-seeded LSU in the best-of-three series this Friday-Saturday. First pitch is slated for May 27 at 3 p.m.
