James Madison sits in fourth in the Colonial Athletic Association standings after a 3-1 start to conference play.
The Dukes' 64-54 loss to Northeastern this past Saturday snapped a four-game win streak.
JMU has been playing lockdown defense lately, holding opponents to under 38 percent field-goal shooting and under 31 percent on three-pointers over the last three games.
Senior forward Yohanny Dalembert had his most efficient game of the year against the Huskies, scoring 16 points in 18 minutes off the bench on 7-of-11 shooting.
Senior guard Jackson Kent leads the Dukes with 13.5 points per game. He also averages 4.6 boards and 2.4 assists per game.
College of Charleston is off to a hot 4-0 start in league play, most recently beating Hofstra 77-71 this past Saturday.
The Cougars don't often play high-scoring games. Their 64.1 points scored per game are last in the CAA, but their 57.5 points allowed are a league best.
Redshirt junior guard Joe Chealey was named CAA Player of the Week after averaging 24.0 points and 3.3 assists over three games.
JMU leads the all-time series 4-3, including a 2-1 advantage at home and a 4-2 edge in CAA games.
