2017 FCS National Championship Ticket and Travel Information

In anticipation of a potential return to Frisco, Texas for the FCS National Championship Game, JMU Athletics and the Duke Club want to share some important details on tickets and travel packages for the 2017 FCS National Championship game to be played on January 6, 2018 an 12 p.m. ET.

CHAMPIONSHIP TICKET INFORMATION
If the Dukes advance to the Championship game, JMU Athletics will be guaranteed 5,300* tickets from the NCAA. Last year the Ticket Office was fortunate to secure an additional 3,000 tickets from the NCAA by acquiring a large portion of the Youngstown State allotment. We have been informed by the NCAA that additional tickets will not be available this year and that team allotments will be limited to 5,300* tickets. Based on this allotment and the orders we received last year, the following order limits and process will be in place.

*With the recently completed renovations in Toyota Stadium, the NCAA increased ticket allotments from 4,000 to 5,300 on 12/11/2017.

Ticket requests will only be accepted from 2017 Duke Club members donating at $150 and above as well as current JMU Students. Orders can be made at JMUTickets.com immediately after the Dukes advance to the Championship. Duke Club members and JMU students must login to their existing account to use their priority for ticket orders. Tickets requests will be filled in order of Duke Club Priority Points following the Priority Deadline of Tuesday, December 19 at 5 p.m.

The order limits defined below will be in place for Championship Game ticket orders.
- Royal Donors and above ($6,250 ) – 8 tickets
- Bluestone to Crown Donors ($1,750 - $6,249) – 6 tickets
- Duke to Gold Donors ($150 - $1,749) – 4 tickets
- Current JMU Students - 2 tickets
Ticket orders are not guaranteed for Duke Club members. All orders will be assigned by Duke Club Priority Points following the December 19 Priority Deadline.
An allotment of tickets will be held for JMU Students at $65 per ticket. Current JMU students will have the ability to order two tickets to the Championship game. Students who are members of the DC25 will be guaranteed tickets through the end of the day on Sunday, December 17. The remaining student ticket orders will be filled on a first come basis. Current JMU Students must login to their existing account to purchase tickets.

Based on our anticipated allotment of 5,300 tickets and using order data from last year, this model will provide fair and equitable access to Championship Game tickets for Duke Club members.

Fans may join the Duke Club to build their Priority Points and become eligible to order tickets for the Championship Game. Ticket orders are not guaranteed for Duke Club members as all orders will be assigned by Duke Club Priority Points following the Priority Deadline. Duke Club gifts made with the intention of gaining access to Championship Game tickets cannot be refunded. Duke Club members can view their current Priority Point total by logging into their account at JMUTickets.com.

TRAVEL PACKAGES
The Duke Club and JMU Alumni Association are proud to partner with Anthony Travel to offer fans full service travel packages to the NCAA FCS Championship game to be played in Frisco, Texas on January 6 at 12 p.m. ET. Offerings will include both group and charter air packages, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and inclusion of official JMU fan events. Travel packages will be available online immediately after the Dukes advance to the Championship game at jmusportstravel.com.

Game tickets will not be included with travel packages and should be ordered directly from the JMU Ticket Office at JMUTickets.com or 540-568-3853. Game tickets are very limited for the FCS Championship game and will only be available to current Duke Club members, click for more information on National Championship tickets.

Both ticket orders and travel package reservations will be accepted shortly after the Dukes win to advance to the Championship game. Orders for game tickets will be accepted at JMUTickets.com and travel package reservations can be made at jmusportstravel.com.
