The Dukes will play host to UNC Charlotte on Saturday at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday night, a couple of late baskets allowed George Mason to defeat the Dukes, 76-72 at the Convocation Center.
Junior guard Stuckey Mosley continued his scoring ways in the loss, racking up 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including a white-hot 6-of-9 from three. The junior added a trio of rebounds, two assists and two steals across 34 minutes.
Junior forward Develle Phillips had his best game at JMU, notching his second double-double in three games with 15 points and 11 boards, adding four blocks and three assists across 34 turnover-free minutes.
This is the sixth-ever matchup in the all-time series between the Dukes and 49ers, with Charlotte holding the series lead, 5-0.
In the last matchup, the Dukes dropped a 65-56 decision in Charlotte, N.C. on Nov. 30, 2016.
The 49ers are 3-3 after falling to Davidson, 85-70 on Tuesday in Charlotte.
Against Davidson, junior guard Andrien White led the Niners with 22 points while redshirt senior guard Hudson Price added 10 points for his third double-figure scoring game of the season.
