For the second consecutive season,
Olivia Lehman is heading to the NCAA Women's Division I Swimming and Diving Championships to become the first diver to make multiple NCAA appearances.
This year's championship is held over Wednesday, March 15 until Saturday, March 18 at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis, Ind.
Lehman qualified for the championships after placing third on the 1-meter at the 2017 NCAA Zone A Championship inside the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Christiansburg, Va. on March 7. The senior is just the second diver in JMU program history to compete at the NCAA Championships and is the first Duke diver to make multiple championships appearances.
The 1-meter diving trails will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. The top eight finishers will advance to the championship final, which will be held during Thursday's evening session beginning at 6 p.m.
A consolation final will be held roughly 15 minutes following Thursday's diving trial for the ninth through 16th-place finishers.
The NCAA will provide a livestream of Thursday's competition.
