HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men's tennis stretched its win streak to five as the Dukes sank Hampton 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point 2-1, the Dukes picked up wins at five of six singles positions to take the team victory. Junior Theophile Lanthiezrepresented the clinching point with straight 6-1 victories at No. 5 singles over Peter Odegbami.
This marks JMU's 10th victory of the season (10-6), the first time since 2011-12 the team has reached double-digit victories. The Dukes are undefeated at home and the current win streak is the longest since a six-match stretch in 2010-11.
