Dukes Set for Saturday’s Spring Game, Will Receive National Championship Rings

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Fans will get their first look at the 2017 James Madison football team on Saturday when the program holds the annual Spring Game, presented by United Bank. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Bridgeforth Stadium and admission is free for all spectators.

Gates open at noon, and Godwin Field will be available for tailgating, beginning at 9 a.m. The Fan Zone, which features inflatables, games and a JMU photo booth, will be open from 11-12:30 p.m. Additional parking will be available in P-Lot, G-Lot and the Champions Parking Deck on a first-come basis.

Limited edition commemorative championship posters will also be available for the first 2,000 fans on game day. Posters are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to one per patron. Only fans present at the spring game may claim a poster. The stadium's team store will open at noon, with national championship gear available for purchase.

Following the game, the Dukes will be presented their national championship rings in an on-field ceremony. Jostens will be on site with national championship fan rings available for purchase.

Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online, by calling 540-568-3853 or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office in the Convocation Center. Renew your season tickets before the May 15 priority deadline to secure your same seats and be eligible for annual reparking (must be Duke Club member to participate in reparking).

The Duke Club's auctions, which feature JMU championship jerseys and helmets, will close at the end of the day on Friday. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of JMU's 2016 NCAA Division I national championship.
