GILBERT, Ariz. – James Madison field hockey held steady in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association weekly poll, coming in at No. 13 for the second week in a row.

In the first run of the RPI ratings, the Dukes checked in at No. 5. Six of the Dukes' seven previous opponents rank in the top 25 for RPI and three more are ahead on the schedule.

JMU is coming off a 3-0 loss at No. 7 UNC and returns to the road for a pair in Louisville, Ky., this weekend. The Dukes face Ball State on Friday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. before taking on No. 15 Louisville on Sunday, Sept. 24 at noon.
