QUOTING COACH LOMBARDO
"We struggled with our touch and execution tonight. We created some good scoring chances, but our finishing was haphazard. UNCW did a great job with their game plan and were efficient with their finishing. We'll need to regroup quickly to prepare for a very strong Northeastern team on Sunday."
UP NEXT
The Dukes will return home over the weekend, when they continue CAA play by welcoming Northeastern to Sentara Park for a 1 p.m. match up on Sunday, Oct. 1. The Huskies picked up a 1-0 home win over Delaware on Thursday to move into second place in the league table at 2-0-1.
