Â
HOW WE GOT HERE
- JMU outshot Lafayette 26-8, including a 16-0 advantage in the first half. The Dukes held the Leopards without a shot for the first 38:13 of the game.
- Rigg broke the stalemate a minute before halftime by taking Hall's feed from the right side and fired it home from near the top of the circle.
- Rigg's second goal came with less than 10 minutes to play as Hall faked the goalie and passed to Rigg for the quick score.
- Following a timeout with just over five minutes left in regulation, the Leopards pulled their goalie to play a man up. The Dukes, however, kept them off the board despite the extra attacker.
