The Dukes will travel south for a 7 p.m. game against UNCW on Thursday.
On Saturday, the Dukes fought through 20 lead changes and 17 ties, to pull out a 75-73 win over Drexel in Harrisonburg.
Freshman Matt Lewis led the JMU offense on the evening, driving the lane throughout the contest on his way to 20 points that included an 11-of-13 performance at the free throw line.
Freshman Darius Banks stuffed the stat sheet for the second straight game, battling through foul trouble to rack up 10 points, six boards, five assists and a pair of blocks across just 27 minutes.
This is the 73rd matchup in the all-time series between the Dukes and Seahawks, with UNCW holding the series lead, 39-33.
In their last bout, the Seahawks defeated JMU, 88-73 in Wilmington, N.C. on Feb. 9, 2017.
On Saturday, the Seahawks slipped past Towson for a 73-71 win in overtime in Wilmington to improve to 6-14 (3-5 CAA) on the season.
Against Towson, sophomore Ty Taylor led the Seahawks with 20 points, three rebounds and an assist. Senior Jordon Talley scored 14 points along with four boards, four assists and a steal.
